Devoted daughter of the late Bertha (Broudny) and Irving Miller. Beloved mother of Michael L. Trust of Braintree and Gary A. Trust of Redding, Conn. Loving sister of Evelyn Miller of Brookline. Cherished aunt of Ilissa and Jordan. Dear cousin of Linda Steiff of Brighton, Gilda Flashman of Israel, Bruce Micley of Newton and Robbie Micley of Williamstown. Treasured granddaughter of the late Esther Broudny. Adored niece of the late Ray Steiff, Dena Micley and Freida Jacobson.
Beatrice was born in Boston on March 12, 1947. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester. She married and worked at the First National Bank of Boston in Codman Square before becoming a dedicated mother. Beatrice cared for her mother in Bertha’s later years, making many visits to her nursing homes, bringing homemade food, clean laundry and companionship.
Most of her adult life was devoted to raising and providing unconditional love to her sons, and their love was returned equally in an unbroken bond. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them, and vice versa. They enjoyed many family vacations to the mountains and beaches. The cherished memories of those trips, but more so those of the seemingly unremarkable moments of day-to-day life spent together and late-night phone calls, will live always in Michael’s and Gary’s hearts. Simply put, she was always there for them, and her passing leaves a void that can never be filled.
She will be forever missed by all who were privileged to have known her.
Memorial week will be private. Services provided by Stanetsky Memorial Chapels of Canton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice’s name may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to support cancer research and patient care at
