Deborah P. Radovsky of Sharon, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Judith (née Cornman) and Seymour C. Post. Loving partner of Schuyler Crawford for 28 years. Beloved mother of Gabriel Radovsky of Austin, Texas; Eve Radovsky and her partner Robert of Cambridge, MA; and Daniel Radovsky of Assonet, MA. Cherished grandmother of Eve and Robert’s son Micah (b. 2023). Dear sister of Michael (d. 2014), Nancy, and Susan. Lifelong friend to her cousin David and his wife Meg.
Deborah was born in New York, NY on March 2, 1951, the second of four children. Her family moved from Manhattan to Long Island when she was four years old, and later returned to Manhattan when she was a junior in high school. She graduated from the Brearley School for girls in 1969. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College and an M.D. from Boston University. In 1979, she married David Cort Radovsky (d. 2008), and together they had three children. She set aside her medical career to devote herself to raising them. The family settled in Sharon in 1987. Deborah and David separated in 1992 and later divorced. When her children were in school, Deborah earned an additional degree in special education and worked with young adults with autism at The May Center. In 1998, Deborah reconnected with Schuyler Crawford, whom she had dated around 1970, and they maintained a long-distance relationship for ten years. In 2008, Schuyler moved to Sharon, and they lived together there until her death.
Deborah will be remembered for her warm and caring presence, her easy laugh, her love of nature (especially birding), her appreciation for classical and folk music, her fondness for dark chocolate, and, above all, her deep love for her family. In the last two and a half years, spending time with her grandson Micah was perhaps the greatest joy of her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on March 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. A memorial gathering will follow next door.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Deborah’s memory may be made to the Massachusetts Audubon Society at https://www.massaudubon.org/
