Dorothy A. Kahn

Dorothy A. (Becker) Kahn, 88 of Walpole, MA wife of the late Harold E. Kahn and the late Hyman Beckman, passed away at home on Tuesday morning, February 13, 2018, with her loving and devoted daughter by her side.

Dorothy loved her grandchildren, Sean and Jenna, who were ever-present in her life. She was most proud of watching them grow into successful, thoughtful and kind young adults. She loved her dogs, traveling, and boating in the mountains of New Hampshire.

Dorothy was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1929. She graduated from Roslindale High school and attended Boston University.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Kahn Burchesky, her son-in-law Doug, and grandchildren, Sean Edward, Jenna Rose and Kyle Burchesky. Also surviving is a son, Robert Kahn, of Florida, and his children Jonathan and Courtney.

Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA.

Memorial observance will be held at the home of Jane and Doug Burchesky on Thursday following interment.
