Edward Shore, 90, of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, and his twin brother, Harvey. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy and son-in-law David Kizner; his son, Jeff and daughter-in-law Kim; and two granddaughters Hannah and Jamie. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Joel Kristal and sister-in-law Barbara.
Born on April 19, 1935, Eddie was the son of the late Sophie and Benjamin Shore. He served in the United States Air Force for four years as an aircraft mechanic and a jet engine mechanic. He was stationed in Kansas and Alaska. After the Air Force, he went to work for Eastern Air Lines in Boston and worked for them for 26 years. He then went on to work for FedEx, which was a job he loved. He enjoyed meeting and talking to people and driving trucks.
Eddie loved fishing and going on cruises and especially enjoyed taking his granddaughters for ice cream. That was one of his greatest joys. He enjoyed riding his bike around the neighborhood and saying hi to all the neighbors. And of course, we can’t forget bingo and Wii bowling. He loved to play games and be surrounded by family.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Kehillath Jacob Cemetery at 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.

Eddie will be deeply missed. He made the world a brighter place with his smile and laughter. He will be forever loved, never forgotten.
