

Elaine (Shuman) Stone of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Stoughton, Massachusetts. passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Anna (Dantowitz) and Sol Shuman. Loving wife of Bernard Stone, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to George Tubin and his wife Lisa, Michael Tubin and his fiancé Suzanne, and Heidi Cohen and her partner Patrick. Elaine was also a cherished stepmother to Ileen Stone and her husband Michael, and Gary Stone and his wife Heidi. She was a cherished grandmother to Alexandra, Jared, Cole, Noah, Tayllor, Rachel, Lauren, Haley, Kyle.
Elaine worked for many years as a Cruise Travel Agent, a role she truly loved. She took great pride in her work and found special joy in the heartfelt responses of her repeat clients. Known for her thoughtfulness, Elaine often surprised travelers with a small gift waiting for them in their staterooms.
Elaine’s greatest passion was creating with her hands. She loved knitting, crocheting, and needlepointing, and lovingly crafted special gifts for her children and grandchildren — keepsakes that will be cherished for generations.
Born in Boston on August 22, 1942, Elaine often shared fond memories of her childhood, including Jewish holidays spent at Franklin Park and time spent “hanging out on the wall” with her brothers, Bobby and Jackie, and many close friends.
Her kindness, creativity, and love for her family will live on through all who were touched by her life. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, Massachusetts. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, Massachusetts. Shiva will be held immediately following the graveside service at the home of Ileen and Michael Wright.
