Ellen was born in Brookline to Charles and Stella (Kaplan) Scholnick, both of blessed memory. She was the adoring mother of David Goldberg and his wife Renee and the late Julie Goldberg and loving sister to Joey Scholnick. Ellen pursued a career in Neuropsychology, paving her own way to earn her PhD. She used that knowledge to help kids in the Braintree Schools as well as her own practice.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 10 AM at David Vicur Cholim Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA.
Immediately following services, a memorial gathering will be held at West on Centre, 1732 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA.
