ELSA (COHEN) MARCUS, over half-century resident of Randolph, entered into rest January 12, 2013. Beloved wife of Richard Marcus with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Scott Marcus & his wife Maharani of Portsmouth, NH, John Marcus & his wife Anne Marie of Easton and Tammy Jobe & her partner Julie Jasmin of Randolph. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Jobe, Livvy Marcus, Addy Marcus, Rio Marcus and Adrianna Marcus.
She was an ardent worker, both paid and as a volunteer, for many benevolent social causes, and had a good story to tell anyone within hearing.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday January 20, 2013, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, at noon time followed by a social get-together at Chateau (Nocera's) Restaurant in Stoughton, where Elsa often made parties for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of your/Elsa's choice like Planned Parenthood, Southern Poverty Law Center, PFLAG, etc.
