Shapiro, Fred of Canton, MA, passed away on December 4, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Betty B. (Rabinowitz) Shapiro. Devoted father of Barry Shapiro and his wife Joan Nelson, and Ronnie and Stan Shapiro. Proud grandfather of Genna, Toni, Casey, Sarah, and Michael Shapiro. Loving brother of Barbara Gesin and her husband Irving. Services will be at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 10:30 am. Following interment, memorial observance will be at the home of Barry Shapiro until 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
