Gerald "Jerry" Sheff

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of beloved husband and father, Jerry Sheff, on October 19, 2025. He was 88 years old and lived in Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Stoughton, MA. Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Pearl (Goldstein) and Samuel Sheff, his mother and father-in-law Jeanne and Benjamin Kohner, sister and brother-in-law Arlene and Michael Kamin and his nephew Steven Kamin. He is survived by his Sweetheart of 63 years Sheila Sheff (Kohner), his adoring children, Debbie Sheff and Lisa Mancini of Boston MA, Stephanie and Gary Brodsky of Sharon, MA, and Barry Sheff and Stephanie Macdonald of Cumberland, ME, his cherished grandchildren, Ezra and Emily Brodsky of Walpole, MA, Hannah Brodsky of Sharon, MA, Liam, Calum, and Duncan Sheff of Cumberland, ME, and great-granddaughter Brooke Brodsky. He is also survived by his loving sister-in-law and brother-in-law Rhonda and Fred Gilbert of Framingham, MA, his brother Larry Sheff and sister-in-law Regina of Dayton, OH and brother Robert Sheff of NC. Jerry was extremely close with his extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as dear friends.

Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He lived his life with humor, wit, and kindness, and shared that openly with all he met.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, October 23 at 10 AM, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Interment will immediately follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.

Shiva will be held at the home of Stephanie and Gary Brodsky following services, until 5 PM. Shiva will continue Thursday 7-9 PM, Friday 1-5 PM, and Saturday 6-9 PM.
