Gloria volunteered for several organizations, all the way from her teenage years with the Red Cross in WWII and the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, Robert A. Carpenter Post 485 where she held several positions including department president. She was involved in countless fundraisers and her most favorite charities were the Woman’s Lunch Place and the Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
