Gloria M. (Marateck) Solon

Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Minerva (Safian) Marateck.

Beloved wife of Eugene Solon. Devoted mother of Marcia Israel and her husband Allen, Howard Solon and his wife Shari, and Leslie Levine and her husband Bruce. Loving sister of Claire Mara. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey Israel and his wife Katelyn, David Israel, Robert Israel and his wife Perri, Jamie Shea and her husband Chris, Adam Solon, Deborah Levine and Joshua Levine and his wife Courtney and great-grandmother to Ryan and Mackenzie Shea, Noah Levine and 2 more on the way.

Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Friday, February 28th at 1:30 PM, followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Leslie and Bruce Levine on Saturday from 7-9 PM and on Sunday and Monday from 1-4 PM and 7-9 PM each day.
