Howard Ellison of Framingham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 78 years of age. Son of the late Edith (Griff) and Henry Ellison. Beloved Father of Jaime Ellison of Westborough and Brooke Berman and her husband Jesse of Easton, MA. Cherished grandfather of Max, Alexa, Chase and Ty. Beloved late brother Michael Ellison and his late wife Linda of Dallas, Texas, his sister Sara Lee Cron and her husband Larry of Mashpee, MA and brother Dr. Harry Ellison and his wife Joanne of San Diego, California and all of his beloved nieces and nephews.
Howard was born in Newton, MA on June 11, 1946. Howard enjoyed his career working for Stephen Gould Corporation as a Sales Representative in Needham, MA. Howard was known for his love of watching and attending games at Fenway Park to enjoy his beloved Boston Red Sox and loved his daily trips to Dunkin Donuts. Howard loved hard, had a heart of gold and loved being around his children and grandchildren more than anything. Family was his entire world.
Howard was never too tired to talk sports and always saw the best in every person he acquainted with. Nothing tasted better to Howie than a good plate of Chinese food and if it didn’t include lobster sauce, forget it. Howie had a memory like no other. With Howie, he could recite any event date in the past 50 years like it happened last week. Howie was a very special man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We will be holding a private service. Relatives and close family are all invited to attend a Funeral Service on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, Massachusetts.
