

A graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School for Boys, he was a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan who watched every game he could. After moving to Stoughton, Irving became very involved in the Damon Lodge chapter of the Knights of Pythias, becoming a lifetime member and serving in multiple leadership roles including treasurer and grand chancellor. One of his favorite activities was helping organize the lodge’s summertime barbecue at the Handi Kids facility and watching his grandchildren ride the ponies.
He was predeceased by his sisters Lorraine Schoenfeld and Muriel Baker. He leaves behind his four children: Steven Weiss and his wife Giuliana Lonigro, Judy Weiss Prescott and her husband Al, Scott Weiss and his wife Meredith O’Brien-Weiss, and Ellen Corriveau and her husband Keith; as well as five grandchildren Abbey, Jonah, and Casey O’Brien Weiss, and Ainsley and Logan Corriveau. He also leaves behind a nephew, Stuart Schoenfeld, his wife Wendy, and nephews Sam and Ben.
Funeral Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA, on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 10 AM, followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
