

He graduated from Canton High School in 1959, and proceeded to hold many interesting jobs over the course of his life. Most notably, owner of Stoughton Sewerage Disposal, realtor (60+ years), and Onset Water Commissioner.
Larry enjoyed fishing, boating, horses, biking, beach days, cooking and spending time with his so many friends. What brought him the most joy was spending time with his family, where his pride, love, and sense of humor was always on display. Whether working for the betterment of the community, canoeing with the grandchildren, or riding his bike down the Cape Cod Canal, Larry always lived life to the fullest and lived in the moment.
Beloved husband of sixty four years to Linda (Bernstein) Blacker. Loving father to Karen & Tom, Jeff & Josh, Stacey & Ernesto. Cherished “Grandpa” to Devin & Dayna, Jillian & Spencer, Jessica, Kyle, and Cooper. Proud great-grandpa to CJ Laurence. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Celia Blacker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, 10:00 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Shiva will be immediately following burial at the home of Karen and Tom.
