Larry Abrams of Owings Mills, MD passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia Abrams for 55 years. Devoted father of Gayle Nettler and her husband Steve, of Westfield, NJ and Elaine Coletta of Pikesville, MD. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Melanie, Allison and Hailey. Adored son of Doris and Hyman Abrams. Brother of the late Eunice Krinsky.
Larry was born in Sanford, Maine but grew up primarily in Boston, attending Boston Latin School and graduating from Tufts University in 1959 where he studied engineering. He worked as a petrochemical engineer throughout his career with many patents bearing his name—a testament to his intellect and ingenuity. He raised his family in Needham, MA, Miami, Florida and Cherry Hill, NJ.
He lived a full life, and no words can express how much he will be missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:45 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
