Richard Charles Rosenberg, 83, of Foxborough, passed away peacefully with his wife, Sheryl, beside him, in the morning hours of May 11, 2025. He was her cherished husband for thirty years. His stepchildren, Stephen Kilpatrick and Cristin Kilpatrick, loved him as a father.
Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY, and never lost his Brooklyn accent or his Brooklyn sassiness. He received a BS degree in Commerce at NYU and began his career as a junior sportswear buyer for Montgomery Ward, working in Manhattan. After that, he remained in the clothing business until a tragic accident ended his work life. His recovery from the accident was nothing short of a miracle, and he and Sheryl spent the next twenty-five years loving life, their NJ synagogue, theater, museums, music, and a busy social life.
Three years ago, they relocated to Massachusetts to be nearer Steve and Cristin as dementia overtook his memory.
