Rita Elaine Libman

Rita Elaine Libman of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Randolph, passed peacefully December 15 at 89 years of age. Rita was the adored first born of Harold and Mariam (Snyder) Kaplan, of blessed memory. Loving mother of Susan Drew and her husband Doug, Andrea Libman Pudt and her husband Len, and Brian Libman and his wife Zelided. Adored sister of Paul Kaplan and his late wife Vicki, Roberta Woodward and her late husband Dave, and Ronald Kaplan and his wife Donna. She was cherished by her grandchildren who called her “Nannie,” Samantha Upperman and her husband Brian, Joshua Drew and his wife Marissa, Yehudah Leib Aronson and his wife Fruma, Jenna Ahearn, Brandon Ahearn and his partner Doug Lareau, and Samantha Cecora and her husband Pete. Rita has 8 great-grandchildren who called her “Bubbe.” She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rita loved life! She loved dancing and singing, which she did for many years with CapeWay Company, performing at different events. She loved to be busy, getting together with her kindergarten friends and playing Mahjong and Canasta 4 days a week. Rita had a very social life and lived life to its fullest. Her children were the lights of her life and she was theirs. She will be missed so much. We love you forever.

All are welcome to attend a Funeral Service for Rita at 1 PM on Sunday, December 21 at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.

Shiva will be held at the home of Andrea and Len Pudt: Saturday, December 20 from 3-7 PM, Sunday following services and Monday, December 22 from 1-7 PM.
