Robert Mark Bernstein

Robert was born in Chelsea, MA in 1954 to Harry and Cynthia Bernstein. He attended school in Chelsea and Sharon and graduated from Norwood High in 1972. He went on to graduate from Bentley College and worked for the Massachusetts Office of the State Auditor for over 30 years. Bob was steadfast in his commitment to protect taxpayers from misuse of funds and took great pride in his work.

Bob was active in the communities he lived, serving on the Advisory board in Foxborough, and acting as Treasurer for multiple local organizations, including the Agudas Achim Synagogue in North Attleboro and Foxborough Youth Baseball. He was passionate about youth sports, and coached and volunteered in support of both his children’s experiences.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife Anne and his devoted family: his son Edward and wife Leaha, his son Jeffrey and wife Daniella, his sister Benis and husband Hugh, and his brother Joel and wife Suzanne.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, March 15th at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA.

The family will sit shiva at the family home in Foxborough following the burial and on Sunday the 17th from 12-6pm.
