

Son of the late Samuel J. Cooper and Rebecca (Betty) Cooper. Beloved husband of Bebe Cooper. Loving father of Howard S. Cooper and Sharon J. Cooper of Randolph. Brother of the late Ruth (Cooper) Goldman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated in 1945 from Roxbury Memorial High School. He served in World War II. He was an electrician for the MBTA until his retirement in1984, and was a member of the IBEW Local 103 for 66 years. After retiring from the MBTA, he worked for several years at Mass Electric Construction Company.
Bob and Bebe were married for 60 years. Together they were the true testament to the meaning of marriage. He provided for his family, and always put them first. He was a warm, loving father and had many friends who loved him. They enjoyed listening to all his jokes and storytelling. He was more than happy to lend a helping hand. He was a truly wonderful, kind and gentle person who leaves a legacy of love behind in his wife, children and those whose lives he touched.
Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Friday February 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at the Independent Pride of Boston Cemetery, Woburn.
The memorial observance will be private.
