

Ruth was born in Israel to the late Leni (Stein) and Erik Wolf and moved to the United States in 1958 when she was 14 years old. She graduated from Beth Israel School of nursing, and retired in February of 2020 after spending 25 years at The Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Ruth enjoyed her retirement spending half the year in Sharon where she raised her family, and the other half by the pool with a good book and her “Canadian crew” in Naples, Florida.
Ruth was the loving wife of Barry Kane of Sharon for 40 years; beloved mother of Barry Barnett and his wife Tanya of New York City, Deborah Barnett Rinehart and her husband Kent of Red Hook, NY, Nicole Barnett DiMascola and her husband Chris of Atlanta, GA and stepson Mitchell Kane of Canton; cherished grandmother of Jackson and Logan Rinehart, and Jameson Barnett; adored sister of Rafe Wolf and his wife Huong, and best aunt to Erik, Alex, Aaron and Lainie Wolf.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 4th at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Shiva will be held immediately following the service at the home of Rafe and Huong Wolf.
