Sheila Frances Sharad

Sheila Frances Sharad (Boodman), a resident of Stoughton (formerly of Sharon), passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife to the late Irving Sharad. Sheila was born on October 4, 1930 - the middle child of 3 sisters to Abraham and Lillian Boodman.

Beloved mother of the late Arleen Seidman and husband Keith, and Steven Sharad and wife Courtney. Grandmother of Ilana Perlman and husband David, Saxton Sharad and wife Karen, Erica Seidman, and Savannah Freedman and husband Joshua. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sister of the late Silvia Blumenthal and the late Harriett Risman.

Sheila took pride in her large family and her happiest times were spent with them. She had many passions including playing cards with friends, cooking for her family, traveling, and sightseeing. She was a long-time member of Temple Israel in Sharon. For those lucky enough to know her, she was an independent woman and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 13th at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA, followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park.
