

Born in Roxbury, he was son of the late Irving and Ruth (Korn) Lerner.
A graduate of the Boston schools and of Northeastern University, he was an Industrial Engineer all through his working career. Mr. Lerner was retired from the US Army Reserve, after serving 32 years, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He loved going to his summer home in Wareham.
He is survived by his wife Angela (Sperazzo) Lerner, his daughter Michelle Boyer and her husband Robert, stepdaughters, Michele Dincecco, Nicole Dincecco-Blodgett and her husband Scot and Renee (Dincecco) Stewart and her husband William, and Papa to his grandchildren Erica, Marc, Madison, Lauren, Aiden and great-granddaughter Aubree.
Services will be at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Monday, December 15th at 12 noon followed by Interment at Sharon Memorial Park.
Memorial observance will be at his late residence on Tuesday from 3-8 PM and then at the home of his daughter Michelle Boyer on Wednesday from 2-8 PM.
