Alice was born in Canton on July 20, 1950, to the late Bill and Beatrice (Mayle) Cole. Alice is a graduate of the 1968 class of Lehman High School. Alice married Daniel Brosovic on May 6, 1972, and they celebrated 53 years of marriage together. She worked as a surgical assistant for Dr. Emil Poporad for about 15 years until retired in 2014. She was a member of the Church of the Lakes. In her free time, Alice enjoyed crafting and being with her family. Her favorite place in the world was any place with a beach, especially Topsail Island in North Carolina.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, Daniel, two children, Kelli (Clive) Philpott and Bryan (Joanna) Brosovic, four grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jake, Andrew, and Alyssa; four great-grandchildren: Spencer, James, Ellee, and Layla; her brother, Billy Cole, Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Alice will be held at Church of the Lakes on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at the church on Saturday at 12:00 pm with Reverend Bryan George officiating.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the staff of the Gables of Canton for the care they provided to Alice during the last years of her life.
