Anna E. Laursen

Anna E. (Frost) Laursen, age 93, of North Canton, died at her residence on Saturday, November 23, 2013. The daughter of the late Christian and Jensine (Pedersen) Frost, she was born in Withee, Wisconsin on October 10, 1920. She graduated from Eau Claire State Teachers College in 1942 and enjoyed teaching others throughout her life, particularly about Monarch butterflies. She is preceded in death by her faithful husband of 53 years, Alfred Laursen, a sister, Adia Mehus and a brother, Kristian Frost. She is survived by a brother, Thorvald Frost, sons David of Akron, Thomas and his wife Jayne of Canton, and a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Eric Coble of Cleveland Heights: grandchildren, Amber, Rachel, Heidi, Karen, Trevor and Miranda and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Eli Klingensmith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
