Anthonette "Toni" Hendricks

Toni's first love was her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Following closely in second were her family. Her love for the Lord was evident in her service to the Church. She taught Sunday School for 40 years and was part of a nursing home ministry for 35 years. She was awarded a plaque for "lay person of the year" because of her faithfulness and longevity at Canton Temple Church of God. In the last few years she used social media as her evangelism tool. Facebook and her personal YouTube channel, Toeknee Hendricks, were outlets to her creative way of telling or singing Bible stories. She was also a member in good standing at Cathedral of Life church. For several previous years, as a department Manager, Toni also had a passion for selling the beautiful gifts at Gold-N-Comb and Gallery (Wild Orchids), where she enjoyed helping her customers add to their collections. She was known as the life of the party and spread joy wherever she went. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Ferman Womack and Jewell Essary, brother Leonard Womack and sister Bev Joseph. She is survived by daughters Synthia Kissinger (John), and Aundria King (Lou), grandsons Jordan English (Maria), Joshua English, GG babies Josephine and Harrison English and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Toni will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. A private interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cathedral of Life Church, 4111 38th Street NW, Canton, Ohio 44718. To celebrate her love of balloons and her life, callers are encouraged to bring a balloon.
