Dr. Arnold B. Cheyney 1926-2016 90, passed away July 28, 2016 in Wooster, Ohio. Formerly of Canton, Ohio and Miami, Florida. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne. Devoted father of Steven (Cindy) and Timothy (Denise). Dear brother of Frazier (Wendy) & the late Daryl (Sandy). Loving grandfather of four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dr. Cheyney is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Dr. Cheyney was born in Canton, Ohio, Feb. 23, 1926. Serviced in the Marine Corp. in World War Two in the Pacific where he received a Purple Heart in the battle of Okinawa. Dr. Cheyney received his PHD at Ohio State University and taught in the School Of Education at The University Of Miami in Florida for twenty- eight years. Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at 1p.m. at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, Ohio, 44718. Burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
