She was born April 8, 1937 in Emeigh, PA to the late James A. and Irene M. (Anderson) Haffly. Dorothy was a graduate of Garfield High School, Class of 1955 with perfect attendance throughout her entire 12 years. She graduated in the first nursing graduating class of Walsh College School of Nursing, Class of 1985. She retired from Edwin Shaw, Molly Stark, Nist, and St. Luke Lutheran Home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, James F. McCort; sister, Gladys Park; and many in-laws. She is survived by her children, Tim (Lori); Christine, Michael, Jill (Bill) Harris, Marjorie (Russ) DeBord, Dan (Tina), Melinda (Brian) Feezle; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.
