Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; sons, Todd, Mark, Christopher (fiancee, Allison Huwig), and Brian; grandson Ryan Jachim; and step-granddaughter, Lizzy Maylor. Jim also leaves behind brothers, Edwin Jachim of New Buffalo, MI, Anthony Jachim of Tavares, FL, and Joseph Jachim of Bloomington, IN; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the many family members, friends, and neighbors for their help and support this past year. Special thanks to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Oncology, Cleveland Clinic Akron General Neuroscience, and Southern Care Hospice for their help and support.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, April 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44718, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
James will be laid to rest in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH 44270.
