He was born June 25, 1925 in North Canton to the late Clarence and Merle (Grunder) Cline. John was a WWII veteran who served in the US Army during the Battle of the Bulge. He worked at the Hoover Company for 42 years, and held membership at Greentown Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Cline. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Judith (Sommer) Cline, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call from 10-11am Tuesday, one hour before services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greentown Church of the Nazarene, 10031 Cleveland Ave NW, Greentown, OH 44630.
