

He was born April 8, 1935 in Canton, Ohio to the late William C. and Jesse (Hudson) Weaver. Jack was a graduate of Canton South High School, Class of 1953. He was a US Army veteran who served as a medic from 1958 – 1960, stationed in Germany. Jack was a lifelong resident of Canton, Ohio and the Lake Cable area of Jackson Township since 1965. He retired from the Timken Company after 36 years, and held membership at St. Michael Parish, North Canton Eagles, and American Legion Post #44.
His favorite activities included mowing and caring for his lawn; hanging out with his Lake Cable/Jackson Township friends; Sunday breakfast with his daughter, Traci and his “favorite” Ronda, and spending time with his special friend, Barbara Lung, her children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Ruth Ann) Weaver, Paul Weaver, Howard (Delores) Weaver, Carl (Rosie) Weaver, and Barbara Weaver. He is survived by his daughter, Traci Ann (Weaver) Berry (mother Nancy Brooks Taylor); brother, William “Bill” Weaver; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley (Weaver) and Robert Been, and Carol Weaver; sister-in-law, Dorothy Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 13, 2014 in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Parish, 3430 St. Michael Blvd. NW, Canton, OH 44718, or the American Cancer Society, 925 South Main St., North Canton, OH 44720.
