Joy Carroll Brothers born February 25, 1936 died peacefully at her residence on August 5, 2012. Joy is survived by her son, Jay C. Brothers as well as sisters, Joan Schiavone, Jill Phillips and brother, Jay Soltis. In her forties, Joy went on to pursue higher education at Kent State University and rose to serve in Student Government during her first year. Joy was an active member of the United Church of God AIA in North Canton, Ohio and a woman of deep faith. She is deeply missed and loved by family and friends who were touched by her life. Funeral Services will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, Ohio at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 10, 2012. Calling hours will be the previous evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Entombment will follow the funeral service at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
