passed away Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born 85 years ago in Fairfield, Virginia. Married and moved to Akron where she was devoted wife and mother. They retired to Lake Monticello, Virginia, where she volunteered with the Lake Monticello rescue squad serving as an EMT for 20 years before relocating back to Ohio. They loved traveling and being together with their children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the time she spent with her friends dining out, playing cards and dominos as well as her many travels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Carwell; daughter, Connie Sue; and mother Antha Hallman. She is survived by daughters, Terri Braun (Bob) and Dana Roy (Pat); grandchildren,James Roy, Kayla Adams, and Michael Braun; sister Peggy Haney; and many nieces and nephews.
Private burial service was performed at her request.
