

He was born November 6, 1927 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky to the late Robert and Sada (Ellington) Bowling. Lowell was a veteran of the US Army, and retired from the Timken Company. He was a member of North Industry Christian Church, and was an avid gardener who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; daughter, Rebecca Manley; five brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Bowling, Shirley and Jeffrey Gerberry, and Patrick Manley; grandchildren, Sarah Manley, Andrew and Evan Gerberry, and Alex (Ashleigh) Gerberry; lifelong friend, Eugene Banks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday at North Industry Christian Church, 425 45th Street SW, Canton, OH 44706 with Pastor Steve Kimbrel officiating. The interment service will be held at the Sunset Hills Burial Park pavilion chapel at 1:00pm on Tuesday. Friends may call from 4-7pm on Monday at the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Industry Christian Church. The family would like to thank in-home caregiver, Cheryl Surrena, and the doctors and nurses of Rose Lane Nursing Home and Aultman Hospice for their loving care of LB.
