

Born on August 10, 1952, to Vernon Flavius and Dorothy Maxine Casper, Mark attended Jackson Township schools, graduating in 1970. He went to Parsons College in Iowa and completed his degrees at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He was a CPA.
Mark founded the accounting and financial planning firm of Mark V. Casper and Company, where he served many clients and families until his retirement. He was involved in many organizations, including the Jackson Chamber, Rotary International (past president), Ducks Unlimited, The Toussaint Club (past president), and Brookside Country Club (past president).
An avid hunter and fisherman, Mark traveled internationally in pursuit of his interests. He shared his knowledge and love of fishing and wildlife through his volunteer work with Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs, and Boy Scout Troop 927. He served on the Buckeye Council Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts.
Mark is survived by his wife, Barbara Fordyce; children: Mark, Jr., Meredith (Jordan), and Clayton (Alexandria); grandchildren: Keziah, Roan, and Sylvan; niece, Elizabeth D. Stephens (Michael); grandnephews: Alexander and Maverick; sisters-in-law: Barbara Casper and Gerry F. Drackett. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bruce William Casper, and nephew, Jonathan F. Drackett.
A family service will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark Community Foundation: Casper Family Charity Fund, 400 Market Ave N. Suite 200, Canton, OH 44702.
