Nancy was born on January 10, 1941 in Robertsville and raised in Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Canton South High School. Her parents were Mary Irwin and Lester Elsea. Nancy married Thomas R. Stratton in April of 1968 and enjoyed many years of marriage with him until he passed in February of 2012. Nancy was secretary for the Diebold Corporation and then later worked as a clerk for Stark County Human Services until retirement. She loved to spend her time outside going on walks, reading, and spending time with her grandson.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and her parents, Mary and Lester.
Nancy is survived by her son Tom (Keri) Stratton, and one grandson, Collin Stratton.
Per Nancy's wishes, a cremation will take place. Calling hours will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6-8 pm. She will privately be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
