Paul David Baker

He was born August 6, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to the late Paul Augustus and Margaret (Carnahan) Baker. Paul was a graduate of Timken High School, and a US Navy veteran. He retired from Nationwide Insurance Company after 45 years as an independent agent. Paul was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, North Canton. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. Paul was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan who enjoyed watching games with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandi (Harris) Baker; daughters, Laurie Sibila, and Maggie (Neal) Gartrell; grandchildren, Zachary Sattler, Cassie Sibila, Kyle Sibila, Emily Gartrell, and Kaley Sibila; sisters, Lavonna Whitcomb, and Ruth Toy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn Avenue NW, Canton, OH 44708. The family would like to graciously thank the many nurses and caregivers at Aultman Hospice for their compassionate care of Paul and his family.
