Ralph was born in Akron on February 23, 1939, to the late Ralph and Florence (Hetzel) Koeberle, Sr. He grew up in the Portage Lakes area. He retired from Bridgestone Firestone after 28 ½ years of service and worked as a floral designer for ACME for 15 years. Ralph was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Canton. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Ralph enjoyed golf and photography. He was an artist. His oil paintings, watercolors, and needlework graced every room in his home. Ralph also enjoyed birding, landscaping, and caring for his lovely garden.
Along with his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Gearhart.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly, sister, Ruth, brother, Paul (Cleo), cousin, Janet (Keith), and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Ralph will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 10-11 am. In accordance with State of Ohio guidelines for mass gatherings, a limit of ten (10) people will be permitted in the chapel during visitation; callers must wear masks and maintain a 6-foot distance while waiting to greet the family. A private family service will begin at 11 am on Thursday. The service will be live streamed on Sunset Hills Burial Park Facebook page for those who wish to view. Ralph will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
