He was a 1965 graduate of Hoover High School and attended an electronic trade school. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam and worked as a grinder for the Timken Company. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, American Legion Post #44, and Disabled Veterans #38. He loved photography, music, motorcycles and mechanics.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda and Susan Colopy; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Nancy Colopy; nieces and nephews, Renee, Matthew, Nathan and Andrea; and many, many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 833 39th St. NW, Canton with Rev. Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 12-1pm Wednesday, one hour before services at the church.
