Rose Rita Marchand

Rose was born on April 10, 1927 in Canton. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Bambina (Fantini) DiBattista. She was a 1945 graduate of McKinley High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Marchand who died in 1989; daughter Susan M. Cramer who died in 2006; brother, Anthony DiBattista; sisters, Lena Kelp, Dolly Sirgo, Dorothy Lindsey Mossor, and Mary DiBattista. She is survived by her sons, Rodney V. (Sandi) Marchand, Jeffery J. (Pamela) MArchand, Dean R. (Lea Ann) Marchand, and John P. (Laura) Marchand; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Rose was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton. She enjoyed travelling around the country and abroad, especially to Italy to visit relatives. She also enjoyed crocheting and baking cookies for her grandchildren. Her parting advice to all would be to get the shingles vaccine.

Per Rose's wishes, there will be no services and she will be privately laid to rest at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
