Sandee was born January 9, 1948, in Massillon, OH, a daughter of George and Lorene (Jacobs) Haverty. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, class of 1966, and lived in the Massillon area all her life. Sandee spent many years working until retirement from Massillon State Hospital as an occupational therapist. Gardening was her passion having memberships of the Canton Garden Club and Herb Society, becoming a Master Gardener at the OARDC. She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting and past Queen of a Red Hat Society chapter.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry Haverty, sister Vikki Salla. Surviving children are John (Mellissa) Chaney Jr. and Shannon (Bob) Domer, Grandsons Shane & Aiden Chaney, Granddaughters Kayla & Lexis Domer, sister Kim (Dale) Bowen.
The family will conduct a private graveside ceremony at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
