Thomas Charles Bialota

Thomas C. "Tom" Bialota, age 85, of Jackson Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Tom was born October 20, 1936 in Canton to the late Charles and Mary (Najda) Bialota. Preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Pirozzoli) Bialota. Tom attended Lincoln High School and was a graduate of the University of Akron after serving in the US Air Force for four years as a Statistical Specialist. He was a Certified Public Accountant and retired from the Internal Revenue Service after more than 33 years. He was a manager in the Examination Division for 16 years. After retirement, he was employed by Hauser & Taylor, CPA's for 11 years. He was self-employed for several years as a Tax Consultant. Tom was an avid golfer and lover of CNN, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cleveland sports teams.
Tom is survived by his children: Lisa Aurand, Keith (Tina) Bialota, and Tamara Bialota; his wife, Vera Schleig, five grandchildren: Chad (Bonnie) Bialota, Jess (Justin Bivens) Aurand, AJ Bialota, Jake Aurand, and Renee Bialota; and one great-grandson, Crosby Bialota, one brother, Robert Bialota, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Tom will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held St. Michael Catholic Church on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
