Adam Foster, 41, of Kaufman, Texas, passed away on April 3, 2026. He was born on June 21, 1984, in Dallas, Texas. Adam was the hard-working, son of Paul Alan Foster and Brenda Kay Life Foster. After growing up in the Dallas area, he graduated from John Quincy Adams W. W. Samuell High School. He was a Christian by faith.
Adam was a hard-working mechanic who genuinely enjoyed working with his hands—taking things apart and putting them back together simply to understand how they worked. That curiosity showed itself early. As a young man, to the dismay of a cousin who was babysitting, he was once found in his father’s bedroom with alarm clock pieces scattered around him; to her—and the whole family’s—astonishment, he had it put back together long before his dad returned home.
Adam was a devoted father and dearly loved his children, Wesley and Sarah.
If someone mentioned, “Let’s have a cookout,” Adam was already ahead of them, putting meat on the grill and in the smoker. Cooking and feeding family and friends brought him joy.
Adam was full of energy, and he will be remembered for the steady, resilient way he showed up for those he loved.
Adam is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Foster; cousin, Tara Elizabeth Taylor, Aunt Pamela Susan Foster-Lee, and uncles, Charles Emmett Lee, Jay David Foster and Wayne Taylor.
Adam is survived by his children, Wesley David Foster and Sarah Elizabeth Foster; father, Paul Foster; brothers, Walter Foster and Brandon Foster; mother of his children, Tasia Foster; aunts, Margaret Dasch-Foster and Elizabeth Ann Foster-Taylor; numerous cousins; and many other family and friends.
