Andrew “Glenn” Thompson, 89, of Canton, Texas passed away on November 23, 2025, at home. He was born on September 14, 1936, in Martin, Tennessee to Alvin Fredrick Thompson and Bonnie Ruth Williams Thompson.
Glenn grew up in Martin, Tennessee and graduated from Mason Hall High School in 1954. He was a long-time resident of Canton and was active for many years with the Canton Chamber of Commerce. Glenn managed a couple of Dry Cleaners in Irving and later managed the Van Zandt Country Club golf course.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Bonnie Thompson.
Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Reba Rogers Thompson; daughter, Janet Foreman and husband, Tommy, of Memphis, TN; 2 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Janie Fowler and Janet Elam of Memphis, TN; a multitude of other family and good friends.
