A Celebration of Life will be held for Brenda Watson, 78, of Ben Wheeler, 6-9 pm Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Stagecoach Venue at the Silver Spur Resort in Canton. Bro. Darryl Johnson will be officiating. Food will be provided.
Brenda passed away at her home on Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Ben Wheeler. She was born February 7, 1946 in Fort Worth, TX to Alfred August and Mable Margrett Turpin Stremple.
Mrs. Watson married Jerry Dale Watson and lived in Dallas before moving to Canton in 1971. She enjoyed sketching, painting, cooking, flower gardening and traveling in their 5th wheel. She loved dogs. Brenda was a Baptist by faith.
Brenda is survived by her sons and their wives: David Watson and Tamara of Ben Wheeler, and Jerry Watson Jr. and Pasha of Mena, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Colton Baker, Trey Watson and Cody Watson; sister, Carolyn Teague; and her granddog, Bo Watson.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dale Watson Sr.; parents; and brother, Richard Teague.
