Bryant Travis Foster

He passed away September 27, 2015, in Tyler, TX.

Travis was born on February 15, 1938, to Marcus and Mary Mills Foster.

Interment will be in Rock Hill Cemetery north of Myrtle Springs in Van Zandt County.

Travis was a member of Leagueville Baptist in Murchison, TX. He was married 35 years to his precious wife, Judy. He was a very good carpenter and did amazing wood work. He enjoyed doing honey-do jobs for his wife. Travis loved his kids and making things for them. He planted and gardened from seeds. Travis loved his dog, Princess. He served in the U.S. Army. Travis worked as an electrician and started his own business in Canton. In 1980, he went to work for the Brownsboro School as supervisor of custodian, maintenance and transportation. Eventually, he worked his way up to become the maintenance director.

Travis is preceded in death by his Parents; Daughter, Kendra Foster; and Sister, Jean Dove.

He is survived by his Wife, Judy Foster of Brownsboro; Daughter, Dorothy Foster of Mabank, TX; Daughter, Julie & Gary Flynn of Brownsboro, TX; Daughter, April & Jason Mitchell of Keller, TX; Son, Zane & Stephanie Ballard of Brownsboro, TX; Brother, Bill & Betty Foster of Kyle, TX; Brother, Jo Mark & Kim Foster of Rockwall, TX; 16 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 30, 2015, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
