Carolyn was born to Glen and Edna Charlton who moved to San Antonio, Texas shortly after. She spent her childhood in San Antonio where she played clarinet in the high school band; she had even recently uncovered a vinyl record of her high school band's recordings. After high school, she spent the next fifteen years as a stay-at-home mom and military wife in California.
Carolyn loved to travel, go thrifting, Elvis Presley, and collect Mickey Mouse memorabilia. Her favorite trip was the Disney cruise she went on where she got to meet Mickey Mouse. Carolyn had a small collection consisting of twenty-five Elvis Presley records.
Her belief in God kept her strong throughout her life and she instilled that faith in her children. Though not part of a congregation during the last few years of her life, she did watch live-streamed services from her son's church every Sunday.
She loved her children and all of her grandkids deeply. Carolyn enjoyed the chaos of having a house full of laughter and love even through her final days, much to the shock of her nurses.
Carolyn's children have lovingly said, "we never had a lot, but we always had enough." Her love of Christ and family made sure that everyone who knew her always felt as though they had plenty in life to feel fulfilled.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Marjorie "Margie" Gandy and husband Tim, Brian Fenner and wife Christine, George Fenner and wife Rebekah, Michael Treanor and wife Alicia, and Sherry Treanor; and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Glen and Edna Charlton; husband, Dwaine Lindquist; daughter, Melissa Bradley; and grandchild, Spencer Treanor.
A visitation to honor Carolyn's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1pm at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Her funeral service will be starting at 2pm following the visitation.
