Danny Wayne Roberts

Services for Danny Wayne Roberts, 58, of Canton, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, February 13, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Chaplain Gary Rushing, Chaplain Larry Lowe, and Chaplain Larry Palmer will be officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Haven of Memories Canton, TX.

Danny passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Tyler, TX.

He was born September 23, 1956 in Paris, TX, to Kenneth Wayne and Patsy Burns Roberts.

He grew up in Paris and attended East Texas Baptist University on a baseball scholarship. Danny went to work for The City of Richardson as a police officer in 1978. After 8 years of service, he stayed with the city and began working for the Richardson Fire Dept. where he has served for the last 29 years. Danny married Cindy Risner on May 22, 1999, and they moved to Canton in 2010. He loved fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and umpiring baseball games in his spare time.

Danny is survived by his Wife, Cindy Roberts, Stepson, Brad & Brandy Sherburn, Stepdaughter, Melinda & Jarrot Rachal, 4 Step-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sadie, Haley, Iyanna, Sister, Deanna Allen, Nephew, David & Brittany Roberts, Niece, Brooke & David Mead, Great Nephew, Rustyn Roberts, Great Nieces, Annali Mead, and Addyson Mead.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Kenneth & Patsy Roberts, and Brother, David Roberts.

Pallbearers will be Tim Mock, Billy Gaston, Ed Hotz, Leland Howard, Greg Fitzgerald, Ronnie Tucker, Butch helms, Bill Payne, and Ron Kutz.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
