

David grew up in California and joined the Army as a young man and was station in Panama during the Vietnam war. He learned the trade of Diesel Mechanic while in the army; a skill he used his entire life. David passed the trade onto his daughter, grandson and son-in-law.
David was a Christian and family man. He was a kind, funny and quiet man whose best days were days filled with his grandchildren and family. David was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had over 50 years with his beloved wife, Donna.
David will be dearly missed but live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends. The family finds comfort knowing he rests in the arms of the Lord.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Juanita Almanza; brother, Jerry Almanza; sister, Barbara Johnson.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Almanza; daughter and son in-law; Teri and Adam Wright; son, Matthew Almanza; grandchildren: Steven Bradford, Jonathan Bradford, Wade Almanza, Clay Wright, Nathan Almanza, Christopher Almanza and wife, Jenna, Sophia Almanza; great granddaughter, Ember Almanza; sister and brother in-law, Vangie and Joe Tomczyszin; a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
