Debbie passed away peaceful on March 26, 2024 in Grand Saline, Texas. She was born in DeRidder, Louisiana on April 19, 1955 to Paul Edward Lackey and Hazel Chitty Lackey.
Debbie grew up in the Wills Point area and graduated from Wills Point High School. She was a Christian woman who was saved at an early age and always followed Jesus. Debbie was a wonderful witness of the power of faith and love of the Lord. She was proud of her service as a nurse at many nursing homes around the county. Debbie became a nurse at 47 and spent 17 years caring for people. In her free time, Debbie enjoyed painting, drawing, photography and woodworking. She was an avid gardener and knew the names of all the pretty plants in her garden. Time with family, whether it was shopping thrift stores and garage sales, or meals around the table, was the best time. On quiet days she enjoyed a drive on the back roads with her beloved, Jimmy.
She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Lackey; mother, Hazel Lackey Hollingsworth; step dad J. P. Hollingworth; step mother, Doris Hollingsworth; brother, Paul Lackey; grandson, Lorenzo “Trey” Howard III.
Debbie is survived by husband, Jimmy McClure; children, Randall Alexander, Jr. and wife, Tara, Troy Alexander and wife, Amanda, Carrie McMillan and husband, Patrick, Christina Cummings, Brandi Howard; step children, Brad McClure and wife, Brandi, Ashley McClure and wife, Christy, Christy Fortner and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Makiah, Tyler, Afton, Evie, Lauren, Sadie, Paisley, Weston, Trevor, Caden, Macee, Emma, Harper, Max, Hadlee, Leilah, Lexus, Lyric, Julian, Emma, Parker, Kendall, Jeremy, Jacob, Jude and Austin; great grandchildren, Kingston, Delilah, Isabelle and Clarabelle, Bella and Ava; brothers, Jay Hollingsworth, Clay Hollingsworth and Mike Lackey; sister, Jan Woolsey; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.
