Dwain Burleson Crane

Mr. Crane passed away May 27, 2019 in Mesquite. He was born November 21, 1943 in Safford, Arizona to Burleson Oxford and Josephine Elizabeth Houck Crane.

Dwain was a member of Compass Church in Colleyville. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in the copper mines in Arizona for many years. He then transferred to Dallas to work on heavy equipment until he retired. Dwain enjoyed big band music and ballroom dancing. He was a very quiet and gentle soul who enjoyed Bible Study. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Crane is preceded in death by his parents, Burleson and Josephine Crane; his brother, Donnie Crane; and his son, Christopher Crane.

Dwain is survived by his daughter and her husband, Jana and Jerry Lee of Mesquite; daughter and her husband, Jeannine and Gerry Smith of Bedford; daughter, April Crane of Bedford; son and his wife, Matt and Emily Crane of Glenwood, Iowa; ten grandchildren: Macy and Ben Jessup, Dillon Mendez, Brittany Smith, Kaylon Smith, Parker Smith, Reagan Crane, Madison Crane, Cannon Crane, Nixon Crane and Taylor Crane; and brother and his wife, LeRoy and Betty Crane of Bedford.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
